Hi,
Here is a lot of interesting facts about Swingover. It seems to me that she flat out thinks our community is horrific. All of her derogatory and inflammatory remarks definitely need to be on a site such as yours. It’s completely astonishing that someone with her background and belief system is trying to run on conservative values. I know it’s a “nonpartisan” position but we all know that’s not fully the case. The conservatives want parental control while the liberals want more government and school interference. Please add the following information to swingover. She has deleted her Tweets or Twitter account which means she’s trying to hide this info from the public. This is EXACTLY how ppl who claim to care about our community and the next generation of this amazing community get into positions where they can wreak  havoc on these communities. I hope you find this info appropriate. ALL past and present social media posts and comments are public and reveal what a person is really all about. They always find a way to seem harmless during an election  cycle but things said before they were planning on running for ANY public seat is WAY more important than the fake face they put on right before the community goes to cast their votes. These comments reflect who they were/are when they thought no one was watching. It saddens me to see how Swingover despises our state. If May, Smith, & Swingover are elected to the school board the school district WILL see a mass exodus of students. The ppl in our community need to REALLY dig deeper & get a really good understanding of the people they are trusting to make the decisions for our children’s education. Things have NOT been good in our community lately, ppl are NOT happy, why vote in 2 ppl who continued to drive unrest & division within our community like May & Smith. They had their chance and failed their constituents miserably. Now they want an extreme liberal as one of their threesome to take over this board. These three alone are dangerous to not only our children but to our communities peace and unity, I cannot imagine what will happen to this school district if these three are elected. You don’t need to post my rant, just the link below that I have pasted. It speaks for itself, was very well put together, and researched.

A Coeur d’Alene resident and patriot interview of Rebecca Smith:

I had the privilege of having a nice, one on one conversation with Rebecca Smith about her candidacy. I asked her what she wanted to accomplish as a School Board member, what her priorities, and concerns were, what issues did she have on her radar that needed to be improved. She in turn asked me what my priorities and concerns were. I said I was not the one running and I wanted to hear what was on her mind. She stated that she wants to complete a long term plan that the School District could have to work off of. I asked what she envisioned being included in the plan to fix any known shortcomings. She really wasn’t able or willing to answer that. The conversation turned to her expressing the need to pass the school levies in order to provide funding for Resource Officers and other operating expenses. I asked if Critical Race Theory was a part of the District’s curriculum. She said no and that the Board was watching out for it. She told of one teacher who was counseled for going down the “preferred pronoun” path on how she could have better addressed her concerns. She spoke very highly of the new Superintendent and felt the District was fortunate to have him. She stated that she did vote for masks saying it was based on the best information available at the time. She offered no indication if her mind has changed on masks since the vote based on any new information available.

My impression was that for someone who has been serving on the School Board for a couple of years, she didn’t have a good idea of the things that need to be fixed or a proposal on how to go about fixing them. A long range plan is good, but what’s in it and where is it taking us?
